Thinking about simplicity in design while keeping a sound structure was the beginning part of the ideation.

Next came how to fit the frame together the easiest way possible.
A castle joint was the main joint decided upon.

Using the joints and frame that were drawn, I made the bedframe in CAD in order to get proper dimensions.

The Bedframe
Meet the inset platform bed frame. Thoroughly designed to enhance any bedroom. The Bed includes the frame, slats, and detachable headboard.
Strong, Sturdy, Silent.
The frame was tested and built to withstand those restless nights of no sleep. Extra slats and support was given to ensure optimum mattress support.
Low-profile Frame
Rounded corners to protect from injury and a 6" clearance opens up any room while allowing for storage of shoes, coats, and whatever else.
